Guided capture, honest quality signals, and machine-readable-zone /
barcode extraction that runs on your device. After the OCR engine
downloads, your camera frames are processed locally — this page uploads nothing.

Capture (or upload) a document above — extracted fields appear
here, straight from your browser's memory.
§ 02
No ID at hand? Use the specimen
Open the specimen card
below on a second screen and point your camera at it, or download it and use
“Upload a photo instead”. It is a fictional document with a checksum-valid
machine-readable zone.
On-device today: TD1 MRZ (ID-1 cards — national IDs, residence permits,
many driving licenses) with ICAO check-digit validation, plus barcode decode
(PDF417 / QR / DataMatrix / Code128).
Passports (TD3) are not parsed on-device yet — the widget captures and
honestly reports needs_server_fallback instead of inventing fields.
A checksum-valid read proves the MRZ was read correctly — it is not identity
proofing, face match, or liveness. Those are separate, server-side Solidus Verify tooling.
Beta software. Solidus holds no third-party certifications for this SDK (no iBeta PAD,
no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no eIDAS QTSP). Platform credential anchoring runs on the Solidus
testnet.
